Cubs first baseman and three-time All-Star Anthony Rizzo joined ESPN radio and revealed he is NOT vaccinated. Considering he beat cancer back in 2008 after six rounds of chemotherapy, good for him. And anyone who has a problem with that can kiss his tail pipe (and ours while they're at it.)
"It was a tough decision, but I ultimately decided not to," Rizzo said.
For most of us here at OutKick, it's an easy choice to ditch the fear mongering of Dr. Fauci, but Rizzo passed on the vaccine with clear health concerns of his own. God forbid Rizzo contracts COVID with a less-than-ideal post-cancer immune system -- there's no telling what could happen.
Luckily for Anthony Rizzo, he has the freedom to tell ESPN hosts and the rest of the baseball community that he made a decision about his own health. That's how all of this was supposed to go for all of us, yet politicians turned the decision against the vaccine into a hate crime.
If you ever decide to return to baseball after the removal of the MLB All-Star Game from Atlanta, buy Anthony Rizzo's jersey. At least he has guts.
