MLB Releases List of Top 20 Most Popular Jerseys

Major League Baseball has revealed the top 20 most sold jerseys heading into the 2021 season, and the list is frightening. Mike Trout 10th? Kiké Hernandez ahead of Trout at 9? So much to get into.

L.A...New York...L.A...New York. Are fans still asking why every player says they're at least interested in joining the Yankees, Dodgers or Mets? Winning baseball puts you on the map.

A player like Kiké Hernandez, who just signed a two-year, $14 million deal in Boston, has a jersey that's outselling Mike Trout, who signed a 12-year, $426.5 million deal after the 2019 season. Angels baseball basically stinks so bad that baseball fans don't care that arguably the greatest player ever plays there.

It's borderline embarrassing. And that home thread of Padres' Fernando Tatis Jr? It'll be No. 1 on this list probably sometime around mid-season. The Padres' roster is monstrous combined with the flare Tatis brings at shortstop. Shoot -- I might want one.

Check out Arenado real fast

Fans in St. Louis are almost more excited about the Arenado deal than anyone is about Mike Trout. Maybe they just needed a new excuse to order one of those Cardinals powder blue unis. That would be fair.

Anyway, play for good teams, folks. No one cares about your contract or talent -- fans just care about winning.
