Once again, we had a nice day with the MLB Best Bets yesterday and even cashed a player prop with Starling Marte. Let’s continue to look to the diamond for a way to grab some cash.

Dodgers vs. Pirates

Believe it or not, the Dodgers are getting another solid pitcher to add to their rotation. Tony Gonsolin is returning for the first start of his 2021 campaign and it is against the Pirates. There is no record of hitters against him so that usually favors the pitchers. The Dodgers also average one run every 5.2 at-bats against the Pirates starting pitcher, Tyler Anderson. I’ll take the Dodgers to win on the run line of -1.5 at -114.

Blue Jays vs White Sox

I’ve brought this up before, but Lance Lynn is very good. He should remain in the conversation for Cy Young and tonight is a great opportunity to show dominance if he can beat a good hitting Blue Jays team. The Blue Jays have a .250 average combined against Lynn, but this year the man is absolutely dominating. At home games, he has a 1.26 ERA. During night games, he has a 0.80 ERA. Tonight he pitches at night at home. I’d have more confidence if the White Sox had any history against Blue Jays starter Alex Monoah, but I still think Lynn carries the Sox to victory. I’m going to once again take the Run Line at +125. The way I see it is that the White Sox should win by more than a run. People get scared of playing the run line but there is often more value there. The Sox have played in 60 games, 47 have been decided by more than 1 run.

Royals vs. Angels

The Royals have outperformed this season and are nearly .500. The Angels have underperformed this season and are nearly .500. The Royals have given up 16 runs combined in each of the last two games. Neither of the starting pitchers tonight give me much faith of a low scoring game. Both have ERAs over five. As of right now the wind is also blowing out to the right at more than 10 mph. I’m looking at this game going over 9 runs at -114.
