Minnesota High School Senior Realizes His Dream To Play On Senior Night, Crowd Goes Crazy

I need you guys to turn up the volume on your phones for this one. That's not some fake NFL crowd noise being pumped into the tiny football stadium in Le Roy, Minnesota (pop. 1,083) Friday night as senior Brody Larson took a handoff and followed his blockers on the way in for a 10-yard touchdown on senior night. Brody followed up his touchdown by carrying in a two-point conversion.

Larson, who lives with Hurler syndrome according to sports reporter Isaac Trotter, served as the team's manager during his high school career until last night when his number was called to get a carry late against Houston/La Crescent. Thanks to Brody's help, it was a special night for the seniors who ended their football careers in the tiny town on the Minnesota/Iowa border with a 62-48 win.

John Millea of the Minnesota State High School League says the two schools agreed before the game to trade touchdowns to get the game going and that led to Larson's opportunity shine.
