Justin Kucera, a teacher in Walled Lake, Michigan, claims that he was fired due to his retweet of President Donald Trump. He retweeted Trump’s message that emphasized schools must open, while also adding a comment of his own:
I’m done being silent. @realDonaldTrump is our president ❌🧢

Don’t @ me
“I’m done being silent. Trump is our president.”
Kucera claims he was called in for two meetings with human resources in the district explaining his choice to be fired or resign.
The school has responded to the allegations denying his dismissal was due to his tweets supporting the President. Funny how a teacher manages to be fired when not a single teacher has been in a classroom in months.
The dismissal of Justin Kucera should surprise no one, considering the political climate on social media is to encourage hostile treatment towards conservatives. Kucera is just the latest victim defending his beliefs. Walled Lake will get together with their human resources team and figure out how to clean up this mess. A shame.
Kucera happens to be the baseball coach and should go to show America how disposable we are if we don’t fall in line with the mainstream mob. All support of the President or resistance against Dr. Anthony Fauci will be met with hostility in the workplace.
His claims seem to run step for step with what ESPN’s Sage Steele deals with at the highest level of sports television where she claims she was discriminated against for her views. Conservatives are being forced into hiding to dampen their presence on social media. In this case, Kucera was fired because he presents a risk allowing young people to think outside the box in his classroom.
Imagine a world where young people thought for themselves, instead of waiting for talking heads like Ellen Degeneres to think for them. Justin Kucera’s tweet lost him his job because the mainstream mob needs to pollute the classroom with teachers that won’t allow their students to stray from mainstream thoughts.
There’s a reason we send our children to college and they come back for Thanksgiving with a far left agenda thinking they’re woke. Kucera is fighting against that message and should be applauded.
I guess “silence is violence” only cuts one way.
My problem is, he posted this on twitter. If he made this comment in a way to persuade students during the course of instruction, I would support the Districts’ decision.
It is a lot like Religion’ Teachers don’t have the right, in their capacity as educators, to promote a Religious viewpoint. They do have the right to practice their favored religion on their own time. Unless the school district can prove this teacher was promoting politics to students in an educational forum, I think this decision might well be actionable.
Hey Gary,
Most definitely I applaud Justin Kucera…and YOU…for writing about him. Really sucks when you’re life is so ridiculously governed by some morons in a school district. Like you said…no school for months yet they fire a teacher (and baseball coach). Not easy to come by good sports coaches in high school.
And the big-time teachers unions won’t defend him…no way, no how. They’re all busy DEMANDING schools stay closed while they get paid. Friggin’ tragedy for kids these days what goes on in schools.
