Michigan Congresswoman Admits She Wears Mask Only When Cameras Are On

Another day, another act of Democrat hypocrisy. This time, it comes from Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI). Tlaib was caught on video during a Detroit community event on Monday, telling an attendee that she was wearing the mask only because she was being filmed by a Republican tracker.

The maskless attendee approached Tlaib and thought that she would scold him for being the only maskless person nearby. Tlaib, however, assured him it was only being used as a gimmick.

"Oh, no, oh, not you!" Tlaib said. "No, no, no—I'm just wearing it because I've got a Republican tracker here."

Optics, optics, optics. It's all the Democrat leaders care about when it comes to masking. Dr. Anthony Fauci continues to skate around the country, pleading with Americans to wear masks, but our elected leaders won't even follow by example.

Tlaib was seen weeks ago in Dearborn, Michigan dancing maskless at a crowded, indoor wedding. Her fellow congresswoman, the insufferable Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., NY), made sure she was masked for a photo she took with liberal activists in August, but it came right back down when she was done.

And we could keep going, as we saw the "special rules" that the Emmy Awards were granted by the city of Los Angeles, as hundreds of maskless celebrities gathered to gloat about how rich they are. Oh wait, that was the Met Gala, where AOC and others were maskless while waiters and servants were forced to comply with New York's mask mandate.

It's a full-on sham that has been going on for over a year and a half. It's clear not even Democrat leaders want to wear the mask anymore, but then they should come out and say it. But no, members of Congress, such as Tlaib, would rather slam Republicans such as Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) for not abiding by the CDC's masking guidelines.
