The Miami Dolphins are becoming major players in the Le’Veon Bell sweepstakes. According to reports, Bell is likely to receive a second year and a raise in a deal with the team, terms that could certainly set his eyes on Miami.
Sounds like the Dolphins are willing to go to two years with Bell, which in addition to the money that’s been discussed, makes them a real player.— Adam Beasley (@AdamHBeasley) October 15, 2020
Le’Veon Bell is said to be considering the Kansas City Chiefs, Miami Dolphins, and the Buffalo Bills. Extending an offer past year one could be what it takes to pry him away from the remaining suitors.
Kansas City is obviously the most attractive football team at the moment, but finances have always been a major part of football decisions. If no other team matches the second year from Miami, expect him in the backfield behind Ryan Fitzpatrick. Not a bad option for Tua, as Bell has also proven himself through the air.
The situation remains fluid, and we’ll be paying close attention.
