Mets Place GM Zack Scott On Administrative Leave After DUI Arrest

The Mets have placed GM Zack Scott on administrative leave after he was charged with driving under the influence earlier this week, Jeff Passan reports.

Mets fans can't catch a break.

First, the team's former GM was caught sending nudes to a female reporter back in 2016, and now Zack Scott takes the baton for another embarrassing Mets moment.

What's even worse is that team owner Steve Cohen clearly wants to get things right, as he can't stay off social media, yet the staff refuses to cooperate. Of course, it doesn't help that two-time Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom pitched half the season with forearm tightness, but my goodness -- what is up with the Mets?!

Zack Scott is expected to plead not guilty. However, given the team's past, his days are likely numbered in Queens. Steve Cohen may need to fire up some sage for the office...
