Mets Fan Thinks He Catches Home Run Ball, Fails Miserably

We don't want to be too hard on the Mets, but their fanbase is off to a slow start in 2021. This fan thinks he just corralled an opposite field homer off the bat of Nationals' slugger Ryan Zimmerman...until he didn't.

I've been high on the Mets coming into this season, but doesn't this catch attempt sum up the last three seasons in Queens? The guy thinks he has found something great only to have absolutely nothing tangible to show for it in the end.

Tough scene.
