Media Will Be Allowed Back Inside NHL Locker Rooms, But There's A Catch

Fully vaccinated and masked media members will now have access to NHL players in the locker room this season, according to NHL's latest protocols. Wait -- masked? Reports surfaced earlier this week that NHL players were 95 percent vaccinated, so why would media members suddenly have to be masked to cover the sport?

Because this isn't about health. It's about hand-picking media members based on their likelihood of compliance. Anyone thinking for themselves is a liability.

"No pay if unvaccinated player gets sick." These latest protocols sound eerily similar to those implemented by the NFL. In other words, if two players test positive for COVID -- which both unvaccinated and vaccinated can and will do -- only the unvaccinated will lose his paychecks. That doesn't seem fair.

Of course many Americans notice this unfairness, but by next year, media personnel who dare to think such things won't be allowed in the locker room after these protocols make their rounds.

And what's mind-numbingly asinine is that vaccinated players will remain masked. Isn't that the league admitting the vaccine doesn't work? If the vaccine only protects a player or staffer from dealing with a more life threatening case, then what's the purpose of the protocols at all? Who is the NHL protecting exactly by ripping paychecks out the hands of the unvaccinated? They certainly aren't protecting the vaccinated, as the vaccine itself should already have them covered.

Apparently the NHL and NFL have now taken it upon themselves to protect us -- from ourselves. The NHL is just the latest league to go full woke. So much for science...
