Doctor Says She Will No Longer Treat Patients That Are Unvaccinated

Dr. Linda Maraccini is a South Florida physician vehemently taking a stance against unvaccinated patients — bypassing a priority for personal choice, and in favor of coercion to get the shot.

“I understand that people are free to choose, but to me, it’s a problem when it affects other people,” said Marraccini, in an interview with NBC. “When it comes to the safety of others, when it comes to the fact that it’s a global health problem and community health problem, at this point, I really say that this is where it draws the line in the sand for me.”

Dr. Maraccini added, “There’s been millions of deaths globally so that’s not something to ignore. People are getting to where everybody knows somebody that died from COVID. This is a problem that really everyone needs to help out with and it’s affecting our collective communal health.”

Critics have spoken out against Dr. Maraccini for taking a position that conflicts with the Hippocratic Oath among doctors: To always treat the sick, devoid of any bias.

“The Hippocratic Oath is very science-based,” claims the doctor. “I am following the science. I’m applying this to the benefit of the sick. Responsibility has to do with each individual. This is a global health issue, and everyone owns part of that responsibility.”

News of Maraccini's refusal of service adds to the list of privileges stemming from disputes between vaccinated and the unvaccinated. With several of the nation's key industries militantly in favor of mandatory vaccination, public opinion continues to skew toward exclusively servicing the vaccinated side.

Though vaccination remains the general recommendation for at-risk individuals when it comes to COVID, status of inoculation has exceeded recommendation and turned into an access pass for common living. Now, it is also a determinant in the discussion over citizens' access to medical attention.

More than 60 percent of Florida has received a single dose of the vaccine.
