Clay: It Seems Clear The NSA is Spying on Tucker Carlson

All indications are that Tucker Carlson told the truth, that the NSA was, in fact, spying on him. Meaning -- wait for it -- the mainstream media was wrong again.

Clay Travis discussed the topic on Thursday's edition of OutKick the Show.

"It seems quite clear that the NSA is spying on Tucker Carlson," Clay begins. "This is a big deal. This shouldn't be political in nature, because whether you like Tucker Carlson or not, the idea is that the United States government is spying on citizens."

"How would the media have covered this story if Rachel Maddow had gone on MSNBC and said the NSA targeted her during the Donald Trump administration based on text messages and emails that she was sending? How do you think the New York Times, The Washington Post, MSNBC, and CNN would have covered that issue? It would have been their lead story. Frontpage news everywhere. Congress would have gotten involved."

Clay goes on, "No one's asking questions. How did Tucker Carlson get unmasked as a part of these communications? Who made that request? Why are they sharing information from his email and text message threads?"

Yesterday, I had questions of my own:

Why do we keep listening to the people who deceive us, those who have attempted to insult our curiosity and prohibit our questions?

Not only did the government likely illegally unmask a cable news host, but major media outlets then misled their consumers about it.

For over a year, public voices — politicians, reporters, TV hosts, blue-check Twitter accounts — have told us to sit down, listen and not to question them.

They said that those who questioned the Wuhan lab leak theory were dangerous conspiracy theorists. Those who wondered about Hunter Biden’s laptop were Russian puppets who deserved to lose access to social media.

We were warned not to question whether George Floyd’s death was racially motivated, whether UFOs existed, or the reason for the Lafayette Park clearing.
