Mark Cuban Is Helping Delonte West Try to Turn His Life Around

Videos by OutKick

Mark Cuban gets a lot of flak on Outkick, particularly over NBA ratings, so it is only fair to point out that it is genuinely cool and worthy of praise to see him help Delonte West try to turn his life around.

West is most known for his time on the Celtics and Cavaliers, but he also spent his last season in the NBA, 2011-12, playing for Mark Cuban’s Mavs.

West has been seen around the streets of Dallas in recent weeks, carrying a sign. TMZ reported on Wednesday that Cuban sought to meet with West, and ultimately connected with him and brought him to a hotel while West’s family strategized about what to do next. West’s family has reportedly been trying to convince him to go to rehab for a couple years.

Today, Shams Charania added:

Good for Cuban, and hopefully this is the first step in a turnaround for Delonte West.
