Miami radio host Andy Slater is reporting Braves outfielder Marcell Ozuna was hit by a soap dish (allegedly) thrown by his wife, Genesis, and it led to a facial injury so severe that Ozuna drove to a police station to report the incident. Genesis was arrested and charged with domestic battery. TMZ has since released Genesis’ mugshot.

Fire rescue checked out Ozuna's facial injury which was said to be a "small laceration."
His wife pleaded not guilty and was given a stay-away order.

The couple must’ve ironed out their differences because Marcell, who signed a 1-year, $18 million contract with the Braves this season, took to Instagram a week ago to say (Google translation), “Happy birthday my comadre have a good time on this day, God bless you thank you for your fidelity I always love you very much.” Marcell posted this necklace to his Instagram Story after word leaked that there was a soap dish issue at home. Rough translation is, “So you always carry it on your chest.”
