Former Red Sox star outfielder Manny Ramirez has been released by the Sydney Blue Sox . He didn’t get to take a single at-bat, so that sucks. The team sites “uncertainty of the season” and an unknown “medical issue” for his release. With Ramirez’s history off the field, there’s no telling what could be wrong.
2021 stinks already.
Combined with the uncertainty of the season and the ongoing medical issue that is preventing Manny Ramirez from playing and training with the Sydney Blue Sox, we have decided to release Manny.

We’re sure Manny will sign with another team no one cares about and we’re gonna’ to love it. The 48-year-old former star clearly loves baseball and we love him. Expect to see Manny hit the field later this year (if the league has no drug testing program, of course).
