Make Sure You Realize There's an NFL Triple-Header The Day After Christmas

The holiday season requires intricate planning for big sports fans, even in a year where we are collectively hamstrung by a global pandemic. As I said for Thanksgiving, you may have family members who are not of the belief that it's your inalienable right to watch football every minute it's on TV, so you have to plan opportune windows to plant the flag.

With that in mind, the NFL has a game on Christmas and three games the day after, and we want to help you plan accordingly:

Friday, 12/25

Vikings @ Saints - 4:30 pm ET, FOX and NFL Network

Saturday, 12/26

Buccaneers @ Lions - 1:00p pm ET, NFL Network

49ers @ Cardinals - 4:30 pm ET, Amazon Prime

Dolphins @ Raiders - 8:15 pm ET, NFL Network

All four of those games will likely have playoff ramifications. Even if one of the teams is out of contention, it's a good bet that the outcome will matter for seeding. It's also Week 16, which means it's the finals for most fantasy football leagues.

Also, bear in mind that the 49ers-Cardinals game is on Amazon Prime, and you will need a subscription to watch it. If you have a smart TV, or even if you just want to watch it on a phone or tablet, make sure you have the Prime app downloaded and logged in so you don't have to spend eight minutes doing that when you're trying to watch Kyler Murray.
