Mack Brown Says He Would Not Accept the Texas AD Job

On today's Fox College Saturday show Texas coach Mack Brown sat down for an interview with FoxSportsLive's Andy Roddick.

Brown was outspoken on his interest in the Texas AD's job, his future as the Longhorn head coach, and the pressure that he's under as today's game against Oklahoma kick off.

Mack Brown on being Texas's athletic director: "I don’t want to be the athletic director at Texas, that’s not my expertise. I don’t want to take wins as a football coach and have someone shove me into that position because they’d think I’d like it, that I deserve it or a ‘pat on the back’. We need the best athletic director in the country to come in here and continue to move us forward. I would not be the right guy for Texas."

It was a very revealing interview with the Texas coach.

Well done by my "Let It Ride," hombre Andy.

You can watch that interview here as well as our picks for the college football playoff.

Our Fox College Football Selection Committee picks our four team playoff if the season ended today and the playoff was off and running.
