Mac Jones Looks Legit for Alabama

Mac Jones, the junior quarterback for Alabama, had a fantastic day as the Crimson Tide beat 13th-ranked Texas A&M 52-24 in a game that was never stressful.

Jones completed 20 of his 27 passes -- a 74.1 completion percentage -- for 435 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. He averaged 16.1 yards per attempt.

Look at these two throws, a 78-yard touchdown pass to John Metchie III and an 87-yard connection with Jaylen Waddle. They're gorgeous:

Of course, the separation didn't hurt either. Year after year, it doesn't matter who Alabama loses. Henry Ruggs and Jerry Jeudy were drafted in the first round. Nick Saban regenerates. The last couple years, where there have been offensive fireworks with Tua Tagovailoa (prior to his injury last season), look like they'll continue.
