LSU Fans Should Get Their Masks Ready For UCLA Game

Fans attending LSU's first trip to the Rose Bowl on September 4 will have a new mask mandate to deal with. The Los Angeles County Department of Health issued a mask mandate -- even if you're vaccinated -- that will require fans attending the game against UCLA to mask up unless they're sucking down a drink or hammering away on a hot dog.

The new mask rule affects those events with more than 10,000 fans in attendance. "The mask can be removed briefly to eat or drink, and that it must be immediately put back on afterward," the ordinance reads without noting how stadium security will enforce such a rule.

Now for the good news: there won't be a capacity limit in place at the Rose Bowl. 100% capacity. All seats are available. More good news: there will be beer sales at the Rose Bowl. Buy a few beers, drink, have a great time.
