Look: Missouri Football Gets New Uniforms

Videos by OutKick

We are now less than six weeks away from the start of the 2021 college football season. So far, we’ve seen a lot of drastic changes happening to the sport, but I wouldn’t say the new Missouri uniforms changes go quite that far.

Subtle, yet effective changes have been made to make the uniforms look sharp.

Dave Matter with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch shared some of the players’ Instagram photos showing off the new look. One of those players is Mookie Cooper, a wide receiver who transferred to Missouri from Ohio State. Check it out.

To get a better look at the home jerseys, we turn to a tweet from KOMU 8 News Sports Director Ben Arnet. The new look has more of an old school feel to it, but still has enough to keep it from the “retro” category.

With Texas and Oklahoma possibly on the move to the SEC, this former Big 12 school will want to ensure they keep their identity as much as possible. These uniforms, which I think are an upgrade, are a great start.
