The Little Caesars Hot N Ready pizza is an innovation that for some reason Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa John’s have not to my knowledge sought to imitate. No one is going to sit here and argue that Little Caesars has the best pizza in the world, but the combination of price and convenience makes it compelling.
Now, the chain has rolled out a variation of the Hot N Ready that is half pepperoni pizza, half cheesy breadsticks. All of it can be had for $6; Foodbeast says it got rolled out nationwide on August 31st; Little Caesars is calling it the Slices-N-Stix pizza:
When historians look back on this generation, I fully expect this contraption to be an example of our collective resourcefulness.
Apropos of this discussion, there was a debate on college football media Twitter over the last couple days, as Andy Staples argued vigorously for Little Caesars to get its just due for value and convenience:
Ah, yes. Another childless person who has yet to comprehend the real value of a $5 Hot-N-Ready.
(The value, of course, is that it is 1) Hot and 2) Ready for the low, low cost of $5 and you don’t have to cook dinner for the tiny humans screaming in the back seat.) https://t.co/mgJnv7JZE2
