Lions Announce Extent of Decimation of Coaching Staff for Sunday

We knew that the Detroit Lions might be without interim head coach Darrell Bevell and a number of defensive assistant coaches on Sunday against the Buccaneers. However, when you see it all written out like this, it's pretty wild. They are decimated:

Their head coach and what appears to be the whole core of their defensive staff are out! Wide receivers coach Robert Prince will be the interim interim coach for the Lions.

I guess if there's a silver lining here it's that the Lions have long been out of playoff contention. So, while they'd love to win this game for pride, at least it's not messing them up while they're fighting for a spot in the postseason.

Let your mind wander for a second and imagine if this scenario were to happen to a team during the NFL playoffs. It would be absolute pandemonium.
