LAX Bro Reserve Goalie Comes Off The Bench To Fight Opposing Goalie

Look, I'm not going to sit here and act like some LAX (lacrosse) fight expert, but what went down Saturday night in Albany where LAX bro goalies fought each other just didn't do the same thing for me as hockey goalies fighting.

All the LAX bros on social media are going nuts over Rochester's reserve goalie jumping off the bench to fight Albany's goalie, but I'm being completely honest when I say this was underwhelming. Yes, it's always nice to see athletes punching each other, but the start of this fight is ridiculous as the goalies shed their pads to have their LAX bro-off.

That's Albany's Ethan Woods, in the red, coming off the bench to fight Rylan Hartley....but first, let's watch these guys get undressed to throw punches.

As for the LAX bro game, Rochester won 16-7 and Hartley made 32 saves on 36 shots. Hartley and Woods were both assessed 17 minutes of PIM and have given the LAX bros something to talk about from the Albany FireWolves franchise's first game.

Nothing sells tickets like an old-fashioned LAX goalie hockey fight to fire up the local community, so that was a job well done by both guys here.

Here's Hartley dropping the gloves with a big boy goalie back in 2017 as a member of the Northmen Lacrosse team in the Ontario Junior A. division:
