Laura Now Strongest August Hurricane in Gulf of Mexico Since Katrina

Hurricane Laura has strengthened to a Category 4 Hurricane. This is the strongest August hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico since Katrina. 

Other recent updates include a 175-mile distance off the Texas-Louisiana coast.
