The Latest Juicy NBA Free Agency Scoops By Fans With "Sources"

Every summer, when the NBA free agency period approaches, people usually rely on "credible reporters" from known media outlets for the latest news. And while you can't go wrong by following insiders like Adrian Wojnarowski or Shams Charania for free agency updates, sometimes it is a regular old Average Joe fan, who has his or her own "sources," that produce the juiciest scoops. Unsurprisingly, during the past week, social media has been flowing with interesting fan free agency tidbits.  For your reading pleasure, below I have posted and summarized some of the most interesting fan reports.

IMMINENT SUNS TRADE WILL CLUE LEBRON DEPARTURE FROM CLEVELAND

Thursday morning began with the below big news from "Bakebomb."  Keep in mind, Bakebomb did not specifically cite "sources" in his tweet. However, I don't think it is irresponsible to assume that Bake's information came from a third party.

As of late Thursday night, the impending Suns trade had not been announced.  Stay tuned.

LEBRON COULD OPT-IN TOMORROW AND PLAY WITH KYRIE NEXT YEAR

Below is a nice little nugget that Jay learned from a very trustworthy source.  This could be big news for Cavs fans. It is possible that Jay may be trolling and making all of this up. But, what if he isn't?

KAWHI TO LAKERS FOR INGRAM IS DONE

I have to say, I am very skeptical about the genuineness of this report.  "JD Power" (@handsomejdpower), whose Twitter profile picture is a man with large Elvis sideburns that wears glasses indoors, knows somebody in the Spurs front office.  The front office source, who used to work at JD's "firm," claims that a deal is in place for the Spurs to send Kawhi to the Lakers for "a package centered around Brandon Ingram."

REDDIT USER HAS INTEL THAT PAUL GEORGE WILL BE RE-SIGNING WITH OKC

If the friend of frequent poster to the r/Thunder subreddit is to believed, Paul George, who just opted out of the final year of his contract this morning, will be re-signing with Oklahoma City. The friend, a "higher up" in the Thunder organization has direct knowledge of an "exclusive" and significant  "event" that will be occurring this weekend. The redditor is bit vague here, but I'm pretty sure we can all connect the dots (pic via Twitter/@OKCThunderHeads):

KAWHI TO SIT OUT SEASON IF HE DOESN'T GET TRADED TO LA

This was sent to me from a member of a Facebook private group.  I have cropped out the identity of the sender, but it is worth a look. I would take this for what it is worth and with a grain of salt, but don't discount it.

CLEVELAND PASTOR: LEBRON IS COMING BACK

MyRon Edmonds (@ItsMyRonlive), a Cleveland pastor who has 20,000 Facebook followers, has an announcement. Click the link  in the tweet to watch.

SIXERS OFFER SUBSTANTIAL PACKAGE FOR LEBRON

If I was a Sixers fan, I wouldn't get all worked up over this just yet, but it is worth keeping on the radar.

LEBRON TO LAKERS. OFFICIAL

Not sure why the reporter with the scoop wouldn't report this himself or herself, but nevertheless, congratulations to the Lakers.
