Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin found a subtle way to recruit the most coveted high school quarterback in recent memory.
In his junior year of high school, a top-ranked QB prospect Arch Manning is the son of Cooper Manning and nephew to Peyton and Eli Manning. The high school QB is already being heavily recruited by colleges.
Yahoo Sports reports that Kiffin acknowledged his tactic by retweeting an observation that referenced his Instagram strategy, but didn’t say anything else about his first follow.
Kiffin now follows two more accounts in addition to Manning: current Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral, and the program’s Instagram account.
Maybe Kiffin felt bad for leaving out his current QB by following a possible future quarterback and not the one currently on the Ole Miss roster. But either way, Kiffin adjusted accordingly and quickly.
