Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball is reportedly renting out a condo in Charlotte, NC that’s owned by New England Patriots quarterback Cam Newton.

Newton bought the unit back in 2012 for $1.6 million, so it’s no hunk of junk. In 2019, Newton placed this same unit on the market for $3.2 million, but has since dropped to around $2.6M. Now, LaMelo Ball occupies the 3,335 square foot luxury condo, and for a 19-year-old rookie, he ain’t doing too bad for himself.
There are no details of how much Ball is spending as a tenant. Newton’s home is located in Queen City in a boutique building called “The Trust.”
According to the report, Michael Jordan and American Idol‘s Chris Daughtry have also lived in the building. Another “W” for the Ball family.
Ain’t America great!
Don’t buy any real estate until you see what happens in 2021. LaMelo is smart.
