Kyrie Irving Pays Respect To KD By Throwing Dirt At LeBron

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving paid respects to Kevin Durant on The Boardroom and managed to take a jab at LeBron James in the process. Irving can't seem to navigate the media for 15 minutes without coming across like an emotional teenager!

These type of things start to come out the woodworks when any athlete is walking into inevitable success. First Scottie Pippen wanted to discount the Lakers likely title, now Kyrie takes a jab at HOW LeBron wins. Convenient that the point guard remembers his game-winner in game 7 in Golden state, but forgot LeBron's in 2013 over Kawhi in a game 7.

We'll scratch and claw to remember and forget whatever necessary to push the impression we want. His idol was Kobe Bryant, who left a legacy of clutch shots, while LeBron carried the burden of a guy unwilling to take those same shots. Statistics prove LeBron not only takes those shots, but he's made more. Kyrie Irving now wants to use his shot in the 2016 finals to spit in the face of his former running mate.

Talking up your newest relationship never makes your ex feel bad, they simply make you appear passive aggressive and desperate. Irving's stint with LeBron James currently stands as the only successful period of his career and he should be grateful. Enjoying a new partnership with Kevin Durant shouldn't include jabs at past teammates because they shouldn't be on his mind.

We'll know when Kyrie is finally happy when the words out of his mouth become more about him and his team, rather than the skeletons in his past.
