Kyler Murray's Choice Of Hats Raises Cardinals Fans' Fears

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray can do almost no wrong after leading the franchise back to relevance. Unless you count what some consider to be a suspicious choice of attire.

All of this came about after Murray attended a Phoenix Suns game ... sporting an Oakland A's hat.

So, what's the big deal, you ask?

Well, the A's selected Murray with the ninth overall pick in the 2018 MLB Draft. And it was just November when Murray said he would love to play both professional football and baseball.

“I played football, baseball, basketball growing up my whole life. I miss basketball — I didn’t get to play as much as I may have wanted to. But I miss baseball, for sure, just being in the box, being out there with the guys competing,” Murray said during an appearance on Tiki and Tierney. “But I know I’m where supposed to be at. If I had chosen baseball, I’d be missing football a lot more. For me, I wish I could do both. I definitely feel like I could. I never say never, but as of right now, I’m having fun doing what I love.”

So, yeah, everyone is freaking out. But Murray has millions of reasons to remain with the Cardinals, and you can be sure that is precisely what he will do.

For one, the team just landed prized defensive lineman J.J. Watt in free agency. For another, Murray would have to cut the Cardinals a check of $11.6 million to leave.

All of this makes it a-OK for Murray to love the A's without Cardinals fans needing to concern themselves about it.

That said, there's no word on whether Murray intends to join the Suns.
