Kendall Hinton Finishes Game With 0.0 Passer Rating

Kendall Hinton and the Broncos were thrust in an impossible situation today after all of the Denver quarterbacks missed the game due to the NFL's COVID-19 protocols.

With the timing of the news preventing the Broncos from getting anyone with quarterback experience eligible for the game -- they lobbied to activate assistant coaches, and were turned down -- they had to roll with a rookie practice squad receiver (who in fairness did play QB for a couple years at Wake Forest).

Hinton's final passing stat line: 1-9, 13 yards, 1.4 yards per attempt, 0 TD, 2 INT, 0.0 passer rating.

The Saints won the game 31-3.

Nonetheless, after all this absurdity has passed and Hinton has the chance to look back on these events, he'll always be able to tell people he started an NFL game at quarterback. Hopefully with the benefit of time he will be able to look back on it and smile.
