Kelly Clarkson Hits High Notes in Cover of ‘Dream On’ By Aerosmith

SiriusXM has a channel called Pop2K, which is a collection of hits from 2000 and 2010. It can go on streaks, playing one banger after another, and then all of a sudden, your drive is complete. As you might expect, Kelly Clarkson comes up relatively frequently on the station, and her songs definitely hold up. As someone who was in college at the time they were released, I’m forced to grapple with the fact that songs like “Since You’ve Been Gone” are now throwback territory, but Father Time is undefeated.

Anyways, this cover of “Dream On” by Aerosmith by the former American Idol victor crossed my feed and demonstrated that Kelly Clarkson still has PIPES to hit the challenging high notes. It’s a solid diversion for the day.
