Kamala Harris Caught Lying, Backtracks About Visiting Border

Feeding Democratic leadership honest questions regarding ongoing issues in America can feel like slipping quarters to an empty vending machine.

NBC Nightly News' Lester Holt met with Vice President Kamala Harris to discuss her trip to Guatemala as the ongoing crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border continues to see caravans of immigrants risking their lives, and lives of Americans, in the massive influx of illegal migration.

What ensued was one of Harris' worst moments behind the mic as she blatantly lied about having visited the border, only to add a contradictory statement moments later admitting that she has yet to go.

Holt asked VP Harris in a face-to-face interview: "Why not visit the border? Why not see what Americans are seeing in this crisis?"

"Well, we are going to the border," said Harris. "We have to deal with what’s happening at the border, there’s no question about that. That’s not a debatable point. But we have to understand that there’s a reason people are arriving at our border and ask what is that reason and then identify the problem so we can fix it."

"You haven't been to the border," pointed out Holt.

"I (also) haven't been to Europe," responded VP Harris.

More than three months after being appointed the Biden administration's Border Czar, Kamala Harris continues to display a lack of urgency related to the large number of immigrants and children that are not just physically and sexually abused by "coyotes," but also left for dead.

The Vice President has received criticism for often joking about the concern over her visit, or retaliating once asked by seemingly liberal news sources.

Earlier this week, Harris snapped at a Hispanic reporter during an interview with Univision when pressed about the visit. Harris shut down the reporter's question by accusing the journalist of rudely interrupting her with the honest query.

"I'm not finished," said Harris, refusing to elaborate on details related to her potential visit.

Americans are growing increasingly impatient and disgusted by the disregard of the Biden-Harris administration toward shocking headlines from the U.S.-Mexico border, including a story where more than a dozen immigrants were killed inside of a vehicle hauling 25 people that crashed into a big rig. The SUV drove through a large section of the incomplete border, whose production was halted as an order from President Biden, calling to attention the soft rhetoric Democrats have used to justify their attitude toward completing the border wall.

Also adding to the outrage among the American people are the dozens of videos released by the media showing migrant children left to survive on their own after smugglers and criminals crossing the border are abandoning children in the middle of empty deserts with no signs of help.
