JuJu Smith-Schuster Hints He’s Leaving Pittsburgh Via Instagram

Videos by OutKick

Steelers’ receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster normally wastes our time on social media, but this time he gave us critical information on his impeding free agency. Sports Illustrated’s Kaitlin O’Toole posted a poll that gave fans two choices to answer “Will JuJu stay in Pittsburgh?”

Smith-Schuster himself jumped in to vote that’s a negative. Uh oh, Steelers Nation.

JuJu is expected to land a monster deal, but the Steelers happen to be in a bit of a financial crunch this offseason. The team notably lost Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell a couple years back, and they still haven’t fully recovered. And now they’re on the clock again.

Will the Steelers lose another weapon for an aging Ben Roethlisberger? We’ll find out soon enough.

  1. Monster deal? 4 years in the NFL, 3,700 yards (where he put up 1,400 of that in one season) and 26 TDs as a #1 WR on one of the better teams in the NFL.

Those are Cooper Kupp numbers. Tyler Lockett and Allen Robinson have done more in the same time frame. Not saying Ju Ju is terrible, but that’s not exactly screaming Hopkins or Michael Thomas money.
