Joe Flacco Takes a Visit With The San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting longtime Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Flacco would be a solid pickup as a backup, considering the Bears just gave $10 million to Andy Dalton to be their starter.

Flacco completed just over 55% of his passes last year with the New York Jets--tallying up six touchdowns and three INTs. That Jets roster stunk too, so it's not like he had much to work with. But still, he was serviceable, and there's always room for "serviceable" on good teams.

A 36-year-old veteran, Joe Flacco is a decent signing behind Jimmy G, who may quit football to play a role on The Bachelor the way he's throwing the ball. It's also possible that the 49ers look to deal for Deshaun Watson, if his name is cleared soon. Either way, I like this move, if it happens...
