Joe Biden Brags About United Airlines Vax Rate, Which Was Achieved After Mass Firings

Listen, Jack, if you fire 100 percent of employees that aren't vaccinated, you are left with 100 percent vaccinated employees.

This was the crux of a speech delivered by President Biden on Thursday, calling out disputes made over Americans losing their jobs — across all industries — over choosing to not get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Biden assured his audience in Chicago that the overarching narrative should not be about the 100 percent of workers that got fired, but the common good that is achieved by retaining 100 percent of a labor force that is vaccinated.

"When you see headlines and reports of mass firings, and hundreds of people losing their jobs, look at the bigger story: United went from 59 percent of their employees to 99 percent," assured Biden, failing to show his work on the questionable math.

In attendance was United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby, who didn't turn out to be a small, round and pink man — much to Biden's chagrin. Speaking on the airline industry, Biden also encouraged the Justice Department to intervene in any incident involving an unvaccinated airplane passenger defying COVID-19 policies.

"Scott, I want you to know I instructed the Justice Department to make sure that we deal with the violence on aircraft coming from those people who are taking issues," added Biden.

Aside from the airline industry dismissing thousands of unvaccinated workers, hospitals across the nation have seen a massive decline in the staffing over firings and resignations related to vaccine policies.
