Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to be sidelined a minimum of six weeks and possibly longer if surgery is needed, per source.

The 49ers have been ravaged by injuries. They already lost defensive stalwarts Solomon Thomas and Nick Bosa to season-ending injuries early in the season.
While Nick Mullens is one of the better backup quarterbacks in the NFL, San Francisco is 4-4 and in last place of the toughest division in the league, the NFC West.
Here is San Francisco’s schedule for the next four weeks: Green Bay, at New Orleans, bye, at Rams.
Let’s get a good draft pick and make another run next year!
