Jets Or Giants: Which New York NFL Squad Is Better Off Right Now?

When you look around New York City, there's a sense of despair about the city's two NFL teams - the Giants and the Jets.

There was hope that both teams would turn the corner this season, and it could still happen, but overall both teams look helpless a couple games into 2021.

So which team is better right now? The Jets are a mess, putting up 6.7 points per game. They have allowed 70 points thus far, scoring just 20 points.

The Jets' new rookie Zack Wilson has not been all that impressive. He's thrown for just 628 yards with two touchdowns and seven interceptions.

It just feels like this is becoming a repeat of last season when Sam Darnold tried to take the reins at the QB spot.

Now Darnold looks like gangbusters playing for the Carolina Panthers, and the club is now 3-0 to kickoff 2021.

While the Jets are a mess, let's examine what the New York Giants are up to.

Daniel Jones and the Giants' offense is 'blah' and it's hard to watch Jones at QB and Barkley trying to force the run against other teams isn't working.

Barkley has run for just 134 yards with one score thus far in 2021. He's caught 9 passes for 56 yards thus far.

If the Giants are going to turn around their season, they have a lot of work to do.

As for the Jets, it looks like they have a LONG way to go this season to be even close to successful.

The Giants are at least showing signs of potential. We will see how the Big Apple G-Men look in a few weeks.
