Jesus Aguilar Tells Francisco Lindor To ‘Worry About Booing Your Fans’

Videos by OutKick

Francisco Lindor was smiling and having fun, per usual, despite being down 3-1 to the Marlins at home. Suddenly, Marlins first baseman Jesus Aguilar had enough and dunked all over Lindor: “Don’t worry about me, worry about booing your fans.”

This is JUICY! Watch:

Now it’s highly unlikely there’s any bad blood between Aguilar and Lindor, but it’s still a bad look for the Mets’ 341 million dollar man. And Aguilar actually brings up a fair point:

Why is Francisco Lindor having so much fun losing baseball games after a rift with the fan base, which helps finance his astronomical payday? I’m not going to comment on whether or not Lindor deserves this contract — I’m pointing out that it seems that performance isn’t his focus. It’s almost like now that he’s been paid, it’s all good in the ‘hood.

Either way, we’re just happy SNY’s home broadcast captured this exchange on camera.

  1. Glad to see Aguilar even playfully call him out. That’s what the Mets need in their clubhouse.

I think Pete Alonso is TRYING to fill that void, but his sometimes eye rolling/corny statements leave you thinking he’s not ready yet.

Probably could of been Conforto, but he’s clearly upset over his contract and likely out the door.

Stroman? Love his Mighty Mouse competitor attitude on the mound but he’s on a 1 year deal and I don’t think being a SJW crusader equates to a clubhouse general.

The manager? Again, likely gone. Honestly what this team needs is a New Jersey Devils Scott Stevens or …. I hate to admit it, New York Ranges Mark Messier.
