James Harden Was Shocked To Hear He Made The NBA's Top 75 of All Time List

The NBA released their "top 75 players all time" list earlier this week, and James Harden was in the top 25. He was told about his ranking by reporters after last night's loss to the Bucks. He was shocked.

We were too, James.

I should add that at least he's accepting his ranking as a pleasant surprise with respect to the players before him, but come on. James Harden, whose main plan of attack is to be fouled, is one of the best 25 players ever to grace the hard wood?

Harden should unanimously make this list, however he's much too high for our liking. Winning an MVP and piling up three scoring titles has to amount to some level of respect, and we're trying to do that here. All I'm saying is that Harden appears to be more of a solid player who capitalizes on rule loopholes so he can shoot free throws but who then falls short when the NBA playoffs begin.

As soon as the officials stop allowing touchy fouls to send star players to the charity stripe for free points, James Harden shrinks like an H&M t-shirt. He's certainly not a bad player, especially on offense, however we've seen better. Not to mention, his defensive catalogue over the years has been relatively lackluster. Harden has improved on that end, given the spotlight Twitter put on him, but let's not pretend he's approaching the ranks of Scottie Pippen. How about winning something first?
