Jalen Mills Signs Four-Year, $24 Million Deal With Patriots

Videos by OutKick

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that former Eagles DB Jalen Mills is headed to the New England Patriots on a four-year, $24 million deal with $9 million guaranteed. The deal now means the Patriots have spent more guaranteed money this offseason than they have in any other in the past decade.

Guess Bill Belichick took that Tom Brady championship personally, didn’t he?

This monster spending spree comes just a few days after the Patriots locked in Cam Newton to a one-year, $13.6 million deal, but it still remains to be seen what they do at quarterback. A well-rounded unit that still could use a franchise cornerstone at QB1. We’ll see more into the mind of Coach Belichick by draft time.
