Jaguars To Interview Interim Man For Head Coaching Gig

The Jacksonville Jaguars will interview interim head coach Darrell Bevell for their head coaching vacancy Tuesday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports.

Bevell took over for Urban Meyer as interim coach in mid-December after Meyer was fired and led the team to Sunday’s stunning victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

Bevell previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, and for the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season.

The NFL reports Bevell is just one of 10 names the team plans to interview:
