Ryan Fitzpatrick lost the Miami Dolphins’ starting quarterback job, but his attempt to stay fashionable marches on.
Fitzpatrick showed up to Wednesday’s practice with a trimmed beard and short shorts — a major change from what we’re accustomed to seeing.
Usually, Fitzpatrick resembles someone who would star on “Duck Dynasty,” with a long and often uneven beard flowing from beneath his face mask.

Known in NFL circles as “Fitzmagic,” the 37-year old QB made no secret about his disappointment in being demoted behind rookie Tua Tagovailoa after leading the Dolphins to a 3-3 start. The team is now 4-3.
But seven interceptions in six games led Dolphins coach Brian Flores to make a change and give Tagovailoa a chance.
Apparently, Fitzpatrick decided his status behind center wasn’t the only thing that should be different.
Great. White spandex shorts. Nobody wants to see that.
