Apple finally updated its iPhone software. No, not another annoying “bug fix” that no one understands. Not another aggressive “performance maintenance” update that isn’t believable, either.
iOS14 is a real upgrade. It looks different, added widgets, and isn’t stuck in 2016.
To stick it to Android users, iPhone stans are proudly sharing their new, customized home screens online.
Some are pretty cool; others, not so much:

Android users: “we’ve had widgets for a decade.” In the words of Joe Biden: “come on, man.”
iPhone users are just discovering widgets which were added in #iOS14 and apparently some are pretty excited about it.
"Android users everywhere roll their eyes" 🙄
This kind of customization including widgets, has been standard on Android for over a decade and wut? pic.twitter.com/Bc2mGu8c1c

It’s refreshing to see Apple getting recognition for its original ideas…
