Internet Campaign Seeks to Bring Peyton Manning Back To Tennessee

Just in time for Super Bowl week to dawn in Indianapolis — where 3HL will be broadcasting live on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — a Tennessee Titan fan has begun a viral internet campaign to bring Peyton Manning back to Tennessee.

The intent of the site is to buy billboards, radio ads, and create videos which are all designed to bring Peyton back to Tennessee. The site argues: “As Tennessean’s, born or bred, it has always been our duty to volunteer to come together to do all we can do to right a wrong or effect positive change in the world.  That is why we call upon you now to join us in sending  a message to Peyton Manning to come home to the state of Tennessee and play quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.”

First came the war of 1812 capped off by Tennessee Andrew Jackson, now comes the war to bring Peyton back to Tennessee.

I’ve got to say, opening email and reading Twitter feeds from you guys is always an adventure, but I never expected to see a parody of Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” with changed lyrics arguing for Manning to return to Tennessee.

From the same guys who brought us: “We’re Sorry Phil Fulmer.”

(Which, sources told me, was the first rap song that Phil Fulmer ever listened to in its entirety.)

Peyton to Tennessee?

Eminem’s all for it.

 And now a country version.

See, Peyton to Tennessee unites all musical genres.

 Radio commercials?

Yeah, those are already covered as well.

Assuming he’s healthy, Manning has to finish his career here.

I just went in for a $100 donation.

Primarily because putting a billboard up for Peyton at the same place as the Boobie Bungalow is just too good to be true.
