LSU may have nation's fastest player in freshman Jackson

The LSU Tigers have already talked about using freshman Donte Jackson on both sides of the ball this season and now the world may know why, as Jackson, according to multiple sources via NOLA.com, ran a 4.24 40-yard dash Tuesday.

To put that in perspective, former Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson tied the NFL Combine's 40-yard dash record by running the same 4.24 time in 2008. So if Jackson is as fast as any player ever recorded coming into the NFL, just how fast is he going to play in the SEC? 

LSU might be wise to keep Jackson off the field in Week 1 and unleash him against Mississippi State in Week 2 before the word gets out.
