Paulina Gretzky's Dad Ends 2020 With His First Ever Hole-In-One

2020 ended on a high note for hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who hit a hole-in-one New Year's Eve in Thousand Oaks, CA.

"The Great One" hit a perfect shot on the signature par-3 6th hole at the Sherwood Country Club.

TMZ reports that news of the hole-in-one spread quickly as due to COVID-19 restrictions many fans were kept away from watching Gretzky's feat.

Gretzky blasted a 9-iron on the 140-yard hole, and reports say that his future son-in-law who just happens to be the world's number one ranked golfer, Dustin Johnson, called Gretzky from Hawaii to say "congrats" on the perfect shot.

Dustin is engaged to Wayne's daughter Paulina.

It's not the first time Gretzky has made headlines as of late, as a few weeks ago his 1979 O-Pee-Chee rookie card sold for a whopping $1.29 million at auction.
