Greg Olsen's Son, TJ, Thanks Those Who Supported Him Through A Heart Transplant

TJ Olsen, the 8-year-old son of retired NFL tight end Greg Olsen, popped up on Twitter today with one of those messages that stops you in your tracks and immediately changes your day in a good way. TJ is healing up after going through a heart transplant surgery after he'd lived with a modified heart over the past eight years. TJ, who has gone through three open-heart surgeries over his eight years of life, has a special message for all of you.

"Hey everybody," TJ said in a video posted by his father. "Thank you for thinking of me. Thank you for praying with me."

It's OK if you get a lump in your throat after hearing the boy say those words.

"We also want to ask that everyone takes a second to pray for our donor family. Their selflessness during a tragic time gave our boy a chance at life. We don’t know who they are, but we will forever be grateful for everyday we get to have with TJ," Olsen wrote Friday after his son's heart surgery.
