Today was the final day of Golic & Wingo, which also means the conclusion of over 20 years in morning drive for Mike Golic at ESPN Radio. In the program’s final segment, Wingo bowed out and Golic sat around a coffee table with his family as they all expressed gratitude for what has been a fantastic run:
Golic has incorporated his family into the radio show’s content since its advent. For the last few years, his son, Mike Golic Jr., has been on the show with him and Trey Wingo. Golic’s wife, Christine, shared a photo showing the family’s transformation over the years:

Whatever Golic winds up doing in the next phase of his career, he should spend today with his head held high because there are a whole lot of people who will look back on his tenure very fondly.
Perhaps a new voice coming to Outkick?
Nope….Mike Golic re-upped with ESPN to do the College Football, and I think NFL Live spots.
Hey Ryan,
I always enjoyed listening or watching Mike Golic, no matter what the venue or the event, including his radio show. Always seemed genuine, which is pretty important lol. Thanks for the story!!!
Nepotism at its finest, as Golic Jr. is absolutely horrible. Only reason he got the job and he is still employed….Daddy Golic. Period.
Don’t disagree with that, Troy.
A true radio HOFer. At its peak, Mike and Mike was the gold standard. ESPN no longer deserves a talent like his….
