Golfer Breaks Putter At Masters, Forced to Use A Wood To Putt

I don't know about you, but I have never related to Si Woo Kim more than I did yesterday.

He's a successful, professional golfer who makes good money playing the sport. On the other hand, I spend most of my spring and summer Saturdays trying to locate my ball I hit into the woods while enjoying a couple of adult beverages.

We aren't even remotely the same. But on Friday, I felt like we had more in common than I thought.

Despite having a solid day on the links, Hole 14 got the best of Kim. That, of course, led to frustration, which also led to a broken putter. The problem? He didn't have a putter for the rest of the day, which means he had to use a 3-wood.

Don't worry, Kim made it work.

He is currently tied for seventh at the conclusion of Round 2. Hopefully he's got a fresh, new putter ready to rock on Saturday, especially if he wants to continue his push towards the top the leaderboard.
