Georgia QB Commit Brock Vandagriff Directs Impressive Playoff Win

Georgia will be happy to know it has another big winner coming at quarterback.

That would be none other than Bulldogs commit Brock Vandagriff, who led his Prince Avenue Christian squad to a stunning 38-0 rout of five-time defending champion Eagle’s Landing Christian on Friday in the Georgia private school Class A playoffs.

For his part, Vandagriff completed 17 of 23 passes for 296 yards. He threw for one touchdown and ran for two more. The loss avenged a 62-57 loss to the same school in last year's playoffs.

“This is for sure the biggest win of my Prince career and football career,” Vandagriff told reporters. “Someone here always keeps our records and he said this is the biggest game in school history. We just got after them so everyone was just hyped up. We know our main focus is the state championship. This was just another stop on the revenge tour, I guess."

Meanwhile, Georgia is ranked ninth and is 7-2 after Saturday's 49-14 win over Missouri.
